This illustration was commissioned by Jasper Fforde to appear on postcards to promote his latest book, the Eye of Zoltar, book three in the Last Dragonslayer series. It's the handmaiden, who is in fact a princess in disguise with a big hairy hand grafted onto her arm. Haven't finished the book yet so no idea how that got there. Published by Hodder & Stoughton.
